So here we have a spread with the lovely ladies of Little Mix. The styling here has a 70's vibe to it with all that suede that is so on trend right now. Be sure to check out their latest single, Love Me Like You, which sounds like something by a 60s girl group.

Photoshoot: Little Mix in Wonderland Magazine
The ultimate girl-group of the moment; Little Mix are bringing the 90's back with their new album, Salute. With phenomenal vocals and a more mature sound (whatever that means), the songs will make you want to sing, dance, cry, and scream 'Girls Rule!' Here they are channeling their inner Elle Woods in a pink and classy Legally Blonde themed photoshoot, shot by Liam Warwick.

Spread your wings my little butterfly...

Back on April 1st I went to Little Mix's free concert at the mall in Sacramento. The concert was the girls biggest US event to date with around 3000 Mixers in attendance. Among the annoying fangirls who insisted on singing along obnoxiously to the One Direction songs that played while we waited was me, with a brand new camera that takes amazing pictures and video (as you'll see, unfortunately, I got there a bit late so I had a terrible spot). One thing is for sure, when Little Mix tours the US, you can bet I'll be there again because Perrie, Jesy, Jade and Leigh-Anne sound even more amazing in person.

Top 6 covers part two
As promised, part 2 of my favorite covers.
1. One Direction - One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)
Where do I even start? The video? The vocals? The lads? I was blown away to say the least, and I might have rolled around the floor in tears whispering about how much I love this silly little band after the video premiered (yeah so, i'm not ashamed). Let's start with the video, OMG the video!! It's just the lads being lads, super fun, silly, and oh so likable, I could not stop smiling throughout. I think the boys did both Blondie and The Undertones more than justice in covering the songs, all of their vocals are just perfect, which is what sets this band apart I think. And which is why you should listen to the songs they covered when they were on the x-factor, my personal favorites include: All You Need is Love, Your Song, Chasing Cars, and Forever Young.
2. Arctic Monkeys - Come Together
AM making an appearance on the list once again with another Beatles cover. They played this at the opening ceremony at the Olympics and I might have shed a few tears because I was so proud and this cover is perfect ok.
3.The Ramones - Baby, I Love You
For the classic cover in my list; is there anything better than a rock band singing a 60's girl group song? I don't think so.
4. The Black Keys - She Said, She Said
The Beatles are my favorite band, if you didn't know, and the Black Keys are one of my favorite modern bands, and I just LOVE that they took this psychedelic song and turned it in a bluesy rock song that still sounds amazing.
5. Little Mix - I Will Wait
The girls showing off their out of this world vocals in this Mumford & Sons cover. Be sure to check out their version of "We Are Young" as well.
6. Ed Sheeran - Wonderwall
Now, Ed has done quite a few great covers (Chasing Cars, Baby One More Time, Skinny Love, Someone Like You, to name a few) and Wonderwall has been covered like a million times, but there is something about Ed's version that just soothes the soul.

Photoshoot: Little Mix in Fiasco Magazine
With a new year comes new music! One thing that has changed about me since beginning this blog is that I've become a lot less pretentious when it comes to music (hello, i've posted about 1D about 4 times in a row). One thing that hasn't changed though, is the reason for my starting this blog; to share things that I find interesting. So, what new and interesting new music have I discovered? Well, thanks to 1D, I discovered Little Mix. I admit the music snob in me was put off at first (they were formed on x-factor), and the immature fan girl in me wanted to hate them (ugh Perrie has everything, the looks, the voice, and Zayn), But the new year me was impressed with the British girl group. First of all, their voices are out of this world, seriously, the first time I heard Turn Your Face I got chills. And second of all, after watching a few of their videos, I actually started to like them (this is big thing for me ok, if i don't like your personality then i can never bring myself to admit i like anything you do). The only thing I don't like about Little Mix however, is the outfits they wear for public appearances, performances, etc. If you girls need a stylist with good taste in everything, then call me, alright. I do have to point out that Perrie's personal style is quite great, but that may have to do with the fact that she and Zayn practically share everything from jackets to shoes. Sadly, I have not really paid attention to how the other 3 dress, oops. Anyroad, whoever styled Perrie, Jesy, Jade, and Leigh-Anne for this particular shoot did an excellent job. Sixties styles is the best style after all, after Harry Styles haha.
