So you want to be a style icon?

Continuing on with the modern day Sixties style is Brit It Girl Alexa Chung. She's on the cover of the latest Teen Vogue, and while the styling and photos are great, I find Alexa a bit hard to like when she uses terms like "glamping" (Glamorous Camping) or claimed everyone was "copying" her style (oh please, like she invented Sixties fashion). Then again, I am highly alarmed that her style icons tend to be men (so are mine! I see a pair of pants and think 'Andrew would so wear these' or 'Hey, this looks like a shirt Paul wore' so of course I end up buying psychedelic pants and flowery or stripey shirts). And when she sees an attractive boy she uses the phrase "BGA" or Bloody Gorgeous Alert (again, I must admit, unfortunately, I do the same, the americanized version of the pharse though). So maybe Alexa is copying me?!
